I know some hate it– farmers for instance.
But I like it.
Give me more light in the evening.
Wish it were this way year round.
I hate it. I loved living in Hawaii because it doesn't have it.
Wasnt it created for farmers originally?
Yes, I think so. All it made me was late to church this morning.
Have done that before.
Or is the fall, show up an hour early
Caused me to be late at LAX. Luckily, flight is delayed and still sitting here.......darn spring breakers
I cant stand it, one of the dumbest things this country does.....
It's so silly and causes mild chaos every year for absolutely no reason.
No. They work by the cycle of the sun. It's for the city people. Supposedly it's to save energy costs.
I hate it. We are leaving "standard" time to go to daylight saving (it's not daylight savings time). How can something be called"standard" when it's only for a little over four months a year and the other time zone is almost eight months a year. Daylight saving time should be caused the standard.
I would be all for the losing the hour if it was during the week (like a Friday afternoon), but nope, let's screw us all during the weekend.
Maybe the pilot overslept too
Haha yah I'm in Hawaii.
No. For energy savings. 1966
I was waiting for someone to correct me, lol!! I know it's a pet peeve for some. Sorry, Jammer
LOL...no worries Trouty. I have to admit I had a 'few" beers in me when I wrote that. I probably say daylight savings half the time. I just don't like losing the hour. Just have one time and leave it at that.
Now, when people say the 4th of July instead of Independence Day.
