TE Jason Witten (knee) - Witten played through a sprained knee in Sunday's win over the Texans. He had an MRI on Monday, and the team's preliminary report suggests he'll be able to play Sept. 10 against Tennessee. Head coach Wade Phillips said Witten may be limited in practice during the bye week.

G Kyle Kosier (knee) - One game after returning from an Aug. 18 sprained MCL, Kosier again sprained his knee against the Texans. He did not return in the fourth quarter and had an MRI on Monday, showing a less serious injury than before. Phillips, though, said Kosier's status for the next game is "more iffy" than Witten's.

WR Dez Bryant (ribs) - Bryant showed no ill effects from an apparent stress fracture in his rib that bothered him against the Bears and limited him in practice last week. Bryant suffered the injury in Week One against the Redskins. He returned one punt for 12 yards and caught four passes for 50 yards against the Texans and finished the game without problems, wearing extra protection for the rib.

CB Mike Jenkins (knee) - Jenkins was limited in practice during the week after banging his knee in the Cowboys' 27-17 loss to Bears, but was able to start against the Texans. He felt a little pain but was able to play through it, intercepting a pass in the third quarter. The bye week should help him rest.

T Sam Young (knee) - The rookie returned to practice last week for the first time since suffering a sprained knee in the Aug. 28 game in Houston, working up to full participation on Friday. He was inactive against the Texans but should continue to improve.

LB Sean Lee (hamstring) - Lee was inactive against the Texans after returning to practice on a limited basis last Wednesday and Thursday, with full participation in Friday's no-pads workout. The rookie linebacker suffered a strained hamstring on the first punt in the season opener against Washington. Like Young, he should continue to improve with the bye week.
