IRVING, Texas – There aren't many players around the NFL who have led their team in tackles for the last five years. In fact, Bradie James was the first Dallas player to lead the Cowboys more than three straight times.

When you do find those players who have been defensive stalwarts for that many seasons, it's very unlikely you'll also find them running down on a kickoff.

But that's what James did last week against the Redskins. And, it was actually his idea.

James went to special teams coordinator Joe DeCamillis in the week leading up to the Monday night game with Washington and told him he could help out if needed...

For all the grief James takes it good to see him stand up like this and be a team player. Doing what ever it takes to help this team win games

James has always been a team player. Given his personal history and well-demonstrated character, this should be no surprise.
