SAN ANTONIO – When camp began about 10 days ago, Sean Lissemore was a first-team defensive end. Then the Cowboys signed Marcus Spears, Kenyon Coleman and Jason Hatcher and it bumped Lissemore down to the third-team defense.

But Sunday's Blue-White scrimmage gave players a better opportunity to put their game-time skills on display for the coaches.

And while it was clear the offense got the better of the defense on this day, there was a consistent force coming from the defensive line position.

It seemed every time someone swatted a ball down at the line of scrimmage, stuffed a run, and sacked a quarterback, Lissemore was always in the mix.

What a major bonus that would be if this guy turns out to be a player.

I've always liked this guy since he was drafted. I think he will become what we had hoped Jason Hatcher would become - a 3-4 DE with some passrush ability.

lissemore, hatcher, ratliff might be our main dlinemen that can get to the QB.
Spears and coleman might can get there every now and then <----the use more power moves, bull rushes and clubs.

    coleman might suprise some people.

I know some had mentioned earlier last week that Lissemore might not make the team, but I don't buy it. He has positional versatility, youth, and some pass rush ability. Why get rid of him, if you can help it?

I agree. He's the guy I've thought would really surprise people this year.

Lissemore and Coleman may be the guys who push Olshansky off this team
