Kinda knew Frampton wasn't going to stay on IR. Wonder if they'll bring him back at a later date. I think Albright is done here.

Apparently Albright's back is in pretty bad shape.

    I'm sure it was.

As of a jack of all trades and master of none, he did have value here.

Honestly, I think that killed his value. He wasnt better at LB than any of Lee, Carter, Sims, Durant, Holloman, and the brass clearly didnt think of him as a DE.

Maybe he could have stayed on the roster with a special teams role, making the signing of Bosworth unnecessary, but in terms of what he brought to the team, he was extremely limited, imo.

With Mo's injury, I wish they would add another CB, like Sterling Moore.

I think his downfall was that he never got a chance to solidify a spot before going down with the back injury...and now we'll never know.

Agreed...but whats that saying "If you dont have one starter you dont have any?" I think that "if you dont have one position, you dont have any." I just dont think he was a 43 fit anyways, and that made the decision to put him on IR, and eventually release him, an easy one.

Liked both those players. Are we going to sign a CB.

I think the back more than anything is what cost him... Getting a 14 week injury settlement means he wasn't coming back this year even if they released him in final cuts.

the fact he is a rfa next year means he was not in the future anyways. albright is one of those guys who is nice to have on your roster. not super talented but gets the most out of the talent he has. he plays hard on st's and did what was ask of him. those guys are important on the roster, as long as they are under their rookies deals. not the type of player you sign to a second contract. i think he comes back next year and plays somewhere but i also think he fits a 3/4 better than a 4/3

Yeah, signing a corner like Moore would make a lot of sense now that Mo has a injury.
