It’s a kneejerk-reaction world we live in. It always seems like whatever happens in each game instantly becomes the overall view of reality. Terrance Williams fumbles this week – he’s a rookie wh...

We need the Austin from 3 and 4 years ago. The one we have now is broken. When something breaks, you repair it if you can or else you replace it with something that works. Austin may be back, but just like the last two seasons, he's running at half speed which makes him basically worthless to the offense. His advantage was his quick cuts and he lacks those now. I say deactivate him until he can run full speed again and move on to someone else.

Like most people, I liked Austin, but the NFL is a results-driven league and you don't get results by putting ineffective players on the field. It's time the team stop holding out hope for regularly injured players like Murray, Austin, Ratliff, etc. and focus on guys that can play and help you win games now. Consider the injury-prone players bonuses the rest of the season when they get healthy rather than key pieces every game.

    I agree.

I am so tired of this team drafting players with UPSIDE..

You know..they drop in the draft because of some injury coming out of college

and we swoop in and pick them and hail them a FIND.

Then we sign them..they play and don't do much the first couple of years..

..then they produce something for one season or half a season then their deals are up..

And we are suddenly extending them for another 5 years.

    Stop already.

We have to draft young, healthy and play them right away and see what we have.

I don't why people are so disparaging of Miles. He's clearly not the same player.

Austin has the rest of the year to prove he is part of the Cowboy's future. It's all in Austin's hands now, or in his hammys.

I loved what Miles brought to the team, but it's time to cut bait. The emergence of Williams, Harris and Beasley has made him expendable. His salary is too large to keep especially since they have to extend Dez soon. They can June 1st cut him next year and save almost 4.5m against the cap.
