DC: Point: Can’t Ignore Needs Throughout Draft Process

    They rank players by tiers. I think the Cowboys have 3 tiers in round 1. They do list them in order, but they consider all players on the same tier as having similar value. If there is only 1 player at the higher tier, then they will take that player regardless of positoon OR trade down.

    This. I think they refer to the tiers as plateaus. If there are three players on their plateau at their pick, they take the one that best fits their needs or they trade down hoping that one of them is still there later.

    I like Wilbur. He was a player at WF. I like what I see so far but I not convinced he can't be upgraded.
