They still won't let me have an 'unlike' button. Too bad.
Tony is tough. If he says he could play then not only could he play but well. I've never been but the very tiniest of worried about his back. Just not a big deal these days.
I absolutely would never question this guys toughness or competitive spirit or desire to win. I know lots of folks hate him, and that's their right, but I just don't understand how anyone could see how this guy gives you everything on the field and still think poorly of him.
Love this guy. Truly hope he retires a Cowboy and a champion at the end of those 5-6 years.
Post of the Decade!
Everyone on this forum does, or at least if they don't then they're not really a Cowboy fan.
Amen. He's tough and bleeds Cowboys blue.
Not that I doubt Tony here, but that is usually a comment we hear about a player before they miss a few games or go on IR.
I personally think Romo could, i do, heres where i lay the failure at, the cowboys organization for not taking this team and focusing it around him from teh get go. I feel JJ has wasted Romos career moreso by not getting the correct changes in place in order for Romo to succeed. I feel Romo has all the tools and mentality to win it all, i feel at almost every step Dallas has failed him.
Yeah, me too.
if you are making this statement because of the lack of leadership that's been cast by our owner/GM, then I would agree with you. If this is some cute sarcastic stab at Tony then you are forgetting all the other QB's that weren't really that great that do have a ring. What Tony has shown me is this, he's a very tough competitor that wants to win more badly than anyone here on the boards. If this team wins a SB it's because it's going to be a team effort and our Defense is going to have be better than it has in the last few years.
Yes, and Dez
Dez is just as important, we can have Romo...but no Dez we look like the Jags last season on offense
I don't know why someone who doesn't believe in Romo has to be the bad guy. I like Romo and think with a really good D he would take this team far, BUT, he is known for making some real boneheaded decisions. I think, even today, he's good enough IF he remains healthy but I don't get upset when someone has a legitimate argument against him. His opponents arguments are not without merit.................
I would go to Cabo with Jessica Simpson for unknown amounts of "Private Time" before a playoff game and take the heat later.
No regrets. Tons of pleasure.
Now: let me be clear on my hypocriticality on this: I'll admit it.
I would definitely have done it and wish as a fan the player "in my place" wouldn't have (for simple perceptual grievances to be discussed later).
But I cannot blame him, nor will I claim that the trip affected the outcome of the game- if you believe in Chaos Theory, you would understand my premise as a whole, as it were though:
Perception is Reality.
Whether anybody likes it or not:
Perception is Truth until proven otherwise.
Either get over that, or keep railing to the heavens.
I'll enjoy both outcomes, to be sure. This site is a Mecca for amazingly illogical posts and Romo is a lightening rod for some great reading.
ehh, they would probably gripe about our draft position, and the salary cap hell we.d be in
