DE Anthony Spencer might need minor knee surgery that would keep him out two to three weeks

Maybe now Jerry could get his head out of his ars and go get a guy like Abraham. 3 30+ year olds = 2 25 year olds by means of playing time. Either that or get used to a lot of Kyle Wilber and his lack of game.

All the more reason DE should be the priority in next year's draft. :D

I don't think Abraham is a good fit at Weak-Side LB in Kiffin's scheme.

Why would you say that? They're roughly the same size.

I've been wondering about Abraham as a DE not as a LB. I don't think he has the mobility anymore to play LB in Kiffin's D. He might play as a situational rusher on occasion as an OLB but they'd have to be careful he didn't get gamed for it.

Fisher said this morning that he talked to medical people he knew last night about this. It's not like he is making stuff up.

Anyway, the Cowboys are looking like geniuses for not giving Spencer a huge deal now. I guess the old saying is true. Sometimes, the best deal is the one you DON'T make.
