Walking around in a suit with a giant gold chain hanging from your neck... Why would anybody do that?

While I wouldn't wear a huge gold chain like that, I don't see a problem with it. Especially since it's an "x", everyone knows Dez's signature is the X.

haha agreed, I love Earl Thomas, best centerfielder in the game IMO.

I don't mind the chain at all. I can say for whatever reason I just see the Roman numeral 10 though. I hope his shoes end up being really cool cause its been awhile since i've seen an athlete sponsored pair of Jordans I've liked.

The chain isn't great, but the "X thing" is all heart - I love it every time he throws it up, means we just scored 6.

Yes. They are the ritz to my cracker. I follow them because they is Americans Team. Jerry is a hero to me and he half always been good but not as a coach or GM, belief me. When night school end I will follow my Cowboys even more!
We half a good offense but the defense need work. Lots of work. More work than a rough draft of a Spike Lee opera!

    ohhhhh!
    (Slapping my big forehead)
I get it. Dez make a Td and he Xs his fists. Yes, very astute way of communicating an . . . X. For a while I thout he was a follower of the Station of Iman with that guy Louis Farkan.

Well, Dez, where can I get an X chain? I would wear it to night school.

OK, well let me be the first to tell you ... the X around Dez' neck is symbolic of his signature hook when he scores touchdowns. He throws up his arms and crosses them to symbolize an X. On his website he displays "Throw Up the X". He has twitter followers imitating him "throwing up the X".

Also, young guys in his age group wear large chains to symbolize status and try to "out do" each other with the "flyest" and most blinged-out chain. It's a style. The more unique the chain, the better (in their world).

I hope this sheds a little light on the X-chain and it's history:D

He throws up a dumb x sign when he catches touchdowns. Other teams receivers have gang ties and try to annex their QBs jersey #
