I'm happy we won and the defense was outstanding but our offense didn't change at all. Sure we ran the zone. That is good long term. We even saw some new formations. Overall though the same philosiphies that cause us to play sloppy football were actually increased in the offense. For instance.. We go no huddle and then we still use up every second of the playclock making adjustments and giving the defense every opportunity to get set and let them get alligned. Also it's difficult for our own players being in their stance for so long which cause them to jump offsides. We still let defenses dictate what we do. I absolutely hate it and i'm emberrassed for Dez Bryant. He ends up looking like a overrated player today because of these philiosiphies. I did not see 1 bigtime receiver get completely whiped out of a game because a defense played two deep. Also, Tony, please don't point at the receiver that you're adjusting his route on and throw it to him 100% of the time. The Cowboys need tempo and pace. They need to play with speed. Don't let the defense have all day to line up while we make adjustments. Pace and Urgency is all this offense needs. Nothing has changed on that side of the ball and it will ultimately be our downfall because of all of the sloppy play that comes with that style.
