So how do you explain that we've had these false start issues for a few years now; this is not a new development in Dallas. Gurode and his line mates were always false starting.

Those were ordinary false starts and are nothing like the ones they are having now. Totally different issues.

except when it was a Seahawk who was a yard off the LOS, no call, and then we got a 15 yard penalty on the same play

You make a good point but it's still on the coaches and management. Are they not capable? Get players who are. This should not be an issue year after year, it's ridiculous. I understand you can't fix it entirely in one off-season but we simply should not be in the position we're in given this line was on a steady decline for several years.

You can't just wait until it all collapses at once and try to patch it all together and hope it works. There were clear signs the line was starting to break down when it was Free, Kosier, Gurode, Davis and Colombo.

And then we do an about face and we have the youngest line in the NFL.

Being young is fine, if all that youth is comprised of talent. The transition should have been much smoother than it wound up being. These old parts on the OL should have been shipped out piece by piece, not almost all at once.
