    At some point this offseason, tight end Martellus Bennett's demeanor changed. These days, the flamboyant tight end, whose outsized personality attracted more attention than his exploits on the field, is more reserved and seemingly less eccentric.

    "He's got a wonderful attitude and he's really into it," tight ends coach John Garrett said.

    That focus was seen Sunday during the team's blue-white scrimmage, when Bennett drifted into the middle of the field and caught one pass after another. The impressive performance gives the Cowboys hope that he can fulfill the potential they thought he had when they drafted him in the second round in 2008.

    He was drafted when he was what, 21? I think maturity probably has as much to do with it as anything.
