IRVING – Playing four seasons in the AFC West allowed Brandon Carr to line up opposite of Vincent Jackson on several occasions.

“I remember him,” Carr joked Wednesday. “It looks like he’s picking up where he left off in San Diego. Just from my first hand experiences with Vincent Jackson, he’s a big, fast, physical receiver. I’m going to have my work cut out for me the whole 60 minutes.”

Compared to the receivers Carr defends in practice – Dez Bryant and Miles Austin – Carr says Jackson’s style is different.

“Off the line of scrimmage, he’s more physical, more of a bully so to speak,” Carr said. “When the ball goes up, it’s either he’s catching it or the opposite, nobody’s catching it.”

Somebody who's not afraid to talk and go out there and back it up.

LOL Well he has to play Jackson first before we can say he's "backing it up" lol? I like the trash talking. Its not over the top but its confidence.

There's only one example though and that's the Giants game.

    25 pass attempt targets:

    1st: Spencer. Competed.
    2nd: Carr. Incomplete.
    3rd: Claiborne. Incomplete.
4th: Shallow flooded zone, uncovered, flats, LB area. Completed.
    5th: Carr. Incomplete.
    6th: McCray. Completed.
    7th: Scramble.
8th: Sensabaugh, Claiborne, or window of zone or all of them. Will look at all-22 later and not post what I see in this thread. Competed.
    9th: Lee. Completed.
10th: Looks like cover 4 of some sort (3rd and long), either Spencer, McCray, or window in zone. Completed.
    11th: Carter. Completed.
12th: Carter. Completed. That's twice in a row, same coverage, same result for doing the same thing.
13th: Either uncovered, Carr, Scandrick, or flooded zone. Completed.
    14th: Sack.
    15th: Scandrick. Incomplete.
    16th: Carter. Completed.
    17th: Scramble
    18th: Connor or Spencer. Touchdown.
    19th: Lee. Completed.
    20th: Scramble.
21st: Connor, uncovered, or underneath/flooded zone. Completed.
    22nd: Lee. Completed.
    23rd: Sacked.
    24th: Lee. Completed.
    25th: McCray. Incomplete.

Cornerbacks allowed at most 2 of the 15 completions combined, and at least 1/15. Carr might have allowed one (7 yards, 3rd and 13), Scandrick might have allowed one (7 yards, 3rd and 13), and Claiborne might have allowed one (20 yards, 1st and 10). Don't know what you're talking about.

Safeties allowed at most 3/15 completions.

Linebackers allowed at most 12/15 completions.

I want to see the corners tested some more. Based on attitude I love both he and Mo.

But look at who they were facing? Look at the quarterback....the receivers......I don't even acknowledge that Seattle offense. That's not a knock on the Seahawks receivers but there surely aren't any Cruz or Nicks on that team. That's why I say we basically have one game to go by. I'd expect Newman and Jenkins to do well against that receiving core. Vincent Jackson is a much bigger test. He's in the same vein as Nicks and Cruz. Not the same players but the same caliber.
