    Dozens of Dallas high school students and faculty piled into a downtown auditorium Thursday morning to thank Dallas Cowboys running back Marion Barber for a major gift of technology.

    Barber is donating more than $500,000 worth of computers to 21 high schools in the Dallas Independent School District.

    Jon Dahlander, a district spokesman, said the donation consists of 600 netbooks and 30 desktop computers, purchased through Staples.
