    ARLINGTON – Dallas Cowboys rookie J.J. Wilcox played well in his first NFL start Sunday against St. Louis in place of veteran Will Allen.

    Wilcox, the third-round pick out of Georgia Southern, only played safety his last season in college. Allen, who had started the first two games for the Cowboys, was signed this off-season as a free agent from Pittsburgh.
