News: DMN: Stephen Bowen becomes true starter on Cowboys' defensive line

    Stephen Bowen moves into a new role for the Dallas Cowboys with Sunday's game at the New York Giants:
    Bowen has made four starts in his previous 55 career games, including last week's loss at
    Green Bay. Those were starts merited an asterisk. Bowen started because the Cowboys opened those four games in their ``nickel'' defense. Bowen has been a pass-rusher in the ``nickel.''

    With Marcus Spears' season-ending calf injury, Bowen will be an ever-down player for the first time in his career.

    ``I don't look at it any differently,'' Bowen said. ``I have to play and do my job. That's all that matters.''
