Well said sir. At one point, I had a lot of respect for McNabb early in his career but now...not so much. Sour grapes for sure

First you tell the guy to argue with stats and when he throws them out you dismiss them as being a poor attempt of distraction. Mcnabb had a lot to do with those wins and that SB run, you make it seem like they won despite him. You also make it seem like Romo hasn't had any help and all his stats are despite a piss poor team. Romo has played with Witten one of the greatest TE's in the history according to most here. He also played with owens in his prime and the best defender in the league for his entire career. The bottom line is people on this forum seem to think that Mcnabb wasn't very good because his stats are not out of this world. But if you actually saw him play then what where you watching, the clouds?.

Owens was 33 when he came to Dallas. He played well, but wasn't in his exact prime.

Are you actually trying to argue that Tony Romo has had just as much help as McNabb throughout his career? McNabb played with Owens as well so don't understand what you're trying to accomplish with that statement? You're trying to say that McNabb didn't have a much superior defense? Who cares if Tony Romo played with one good defensive player, lol. McNabb also had a great running back behind him.

Yea McNabb was great...at throwing the screen and chucking the ball in the ground, lol.

He was so great the Eagles chose Mike Vick over him.

Anyway...I find it hilarious how many "fans" on this forum go out of their way to defend the starting quarterback of a hated rival but can't say one good word about Tony Romo.

    Pathetic is what it is.

The only difference between McFlabb and Romo is that Romo can still win a SB. McFlabb is done.

Of note, John Cena referenced McNabb several times during a pre-Wrestlemania match promo on Monday. This was done in PHILLY by the way. He made mention that HE ( McNabb ) could never WIN the BIG ONE. I'm sure he's still pissy over that & took it out on Tony. :laugh2:

McNabb had a better team surrounding him and couldn't get it done.

McNabb cannot win the big one. I am sorry but the big one is the superbowl, not forgettable playoff games.

The Eagles, during Donovan McNabb's time, won inspite of him and not because of him.

Not only did the NFC East stink then, but the entire NFC.

With a team that had such a good defense and a good offensive line, not win multiple super bowls is ALL ON McNABB!

If Romo would have been the quarterback for the Eagles during McNabb's time, the Eagles would have won at least three super bowls and they would not be talking so much about Tom Brady.

2000-2005 Prime McNabb was amazing to watch. Romo will never be on that level in my opinion.

I agree. Using that comparison, McNabb is like Carter.

    Romo is like Favre.

Let's see if he says the same thing when Matt Ryan gets a bigger contract than Romo. Or Matt Stafford. My bet is he doesnt
