So I was considering getting an Easter basket for my step-niece for lack of a better word...but there's also a step-nephew. He should be about 5 or so and I don't want to leave him out.

Do boys get Easter gifts? And what could I get him?

Sure why not? Just get one that has boys stuff it in.

We buy them for our daughter, son, and dog every year! :laugh2:

Sure, boys get Easter gifts. Myself I'll take a 2 foot chocolate rabbit. :D

Other than that anything to show you were thinking of him.

    Your dog? :laugh2:

I've never bought Easter stuff before so I had no idea what I could get beyond the girlie-girl stuff.

No candy for you, Dooms! You should still be buying coffee and donuts for the mod staff, probie.

    Gotcha.. That makes sense.

Our dog is treated just like our kids when it comes to gifts and stuff. Christmas, Birthdays, Easter, Valentines, etc. She always gets gifts too!

My son gets Easter gifts from all of our family each year. He loves it. It's like Christmas, he says.

Sometimes he gets stuff in a basket, but often they are just wrapped themed gifts.

Gift cards for Amazon-Steam-New suit.. :laugh2:

Well he has to look really nice in Church, Todd.

My mom cracks me up. My kid was like.... WHAT??? WHAT????

    WHAT????

Whatever happened to good old fashioned basket with jellybeans and chocolate and an easter egg hunt later?

You see some of these prepackaged baskets and its Christmas 2.0

But you guys want Starbucks and a variety of pastries. I may have Champaign taste but I live with a beer budget.

You aren't one much for change are you? The kids still do EE hunts and thats still a huge part of our family Easter. That goes on pretty much everywhere in the US. The baskets of rabbits and candy are also still part of it.

My family happens to do things a bit different since the kids are all 11+ years old.

They don't want a basket full of candy, so we replace them with small gifts. It's nothing NEAR what their Christmas is like.

I think baskets and candy are still a huge tradition and there isn't anything wrong with that, but sometimes, families do do things a bit different is all JR.

No stuffed animals for little boys!

I would get something like Hot Wheels or some sort of little boy toys.

If you are a little boy reading this. Tell your family to never purchase you anything that is "stuffed" unless its some mighty fine kielbasa sausage to go with your potatoes.

Anything outside of that ...........IS FOR GIRLS.

    Sell it.

I always hated getting any type of useless gift.

Uncle got me a bunch of bobbleheads this past Christmas. They will be gone the day after he leaves this upcoming Christmas. They are in the garage in a box now.

One mans garbage is another man treasure. I have no interest in selling my Cowboys stuff.

I used to have lots of 90s Cowboys signatures on a Cowboys helmet and a bunch of other Cowboys stuff. I sold all of it. Now, I basically have a couple of Cowboys caps, a single Cowboys jersey (Ware), and a Cowboys fleece pullover.

I don't ever buy Cowboys stuff anymore than isn't a cap, or some type general clothing. (not jerseys or jackets) The only reason I have the jersey is for when I attend a game. Other than that, it never comes out of the closet.
