Eli won two SUPER BOWL MVP awards.
We were talking about last season
Anybody with half a brain - regardless of who they root for - knows that. The Super Bowl argument is so stupid I assume that the only people who use it don't actually, you know, watch games.
idk where it was posted originally but...
Over the last 10 seasons
Over the last 9 seasons
Over the last 8 seasons
Over the last 7 seasons

Over the last 2 seasons
Over the last 1 season...
Eli Manning leads the NFL in picks. That is so laughable for a QB who is supposed to be elite.
Just for fun, Eli has only had a passer rating over 90 twice in his career...a 92.9 and a 93.1. Romo has never had a season under 90.5 (2012).
just a pre season game 1st one of the year but Eli does not look sharpe, thankfully for him NY offense was able to run vs Buffalo 2nd stringers outside of that NY and Eli do not look very special and certainly not elite
Eli isn't elite to me in any way but they can win with him.
Hoping they don't though.
Eli Manning - 2 rings and 2 SB MVPs
Tony Romo - 1 playoff win, 3 playoff appearances in 8 years (gets in <50% of the time)
clearly you skipped the part where I said I don't believe in that argument..."stupid" I think was the exact term.
It's such a tired rhetoric from Eli supporters, especially since its so easily countered by all of the Trent Dilfers and Brad Johnsons who have won SBs.
Oh, look. Team stats to support an individual player argument.
Dilfer and Johnson = combined 0 SB MVPs and were mediocre (Johnson) to terrible (Dilfer) in the playoffs when they won
Eli put up 15 TDs / 2 turnovers in his 2 playoff SB runs and was the guy leading the charge. Eli was lights out in both runs.
Romo in 7 elimination games: 8 TDs, 12 turnovers; 1-6 record
With a 2:3 TD/TO ratio in elimination games, it's no wonder he's 1-6 in those games.
There you go. That's a better argument.
Ahhh, the famous Romo-only "elimination game" garbage.
From what I recall, the Washington game win or go home game last year didn't count because that didn't fit a specific qualification. etc, etc.
Romo and team have a tiny playoff sample rate. Those are true elimination games.
His TD/Int ratio in the playoffs is 4:2
How is PSU doing this year? Funny how they picked a coach who jumped ship due to "off the field incidents" his "student athletes" were partaking in over at Vandy.
Classy fella you got there as your new HC to worship over at Happy Feely. What did you do with all your O'Briens Lions bumper stickers? Franklin's Feline's is more like it.
If last night was any indication of what Eli's offense will be like he's going to easily get his 70% completion rate.
Sadly for him he's only going to throw for like 175 yards a game because it appears the vast majority of their offense is a dump off to the RB.
You make ELI ANGRY
Ahh, the many faces of Eli Manning.
KJJ, is that you?
What about the rest of his career? Including 3 one and done playoff runs.
