I have been mulling this over for the last couple of months but wasn't sure if my circumstances would permit me the opportunity to do so. The time has come and it's official. I am going to Orlando to see Endeavours final launch on it's 14 day mission to the ISS.

With a video camera as my companion on the passenger seat, together we will be headed out on a one day trip across the Florida peninsula to capture history in the making.

On April 29th 2011 at 3:47PM EST, I'll be in Orlando and I'll be as fired up as Endeavour on it's final mission.

Anyone else coming to Orlando next Friday?

If my plans hadn't changed I would have been in Jacksonville

I'm glad you're going to go. Have a great time and don't forget to post the video here when you get back!

Awesome, I wish I could go. Have a good time and do post the video, begging your pardon as I ask, please use a tripod. Hand held video is so lousy.

wouldn't you be better to drive over to Cocoa Beach or Cape Canaveral to watch the launch?
