We have the best receiver in the NFC East. That is clear.

But saying we have the best receivers is nuts.

This will be a better argument after Williams' 2nd year. The assumption is he makes a jump this year with a season and full offseason under his belt. He is the somewhat unknown player who could tilt this in either direction.

I think if you just talk WRs right now you have to give an edge to the Skins. BUT adding in Witten gives us the overall edge

Then you have to add Reed who may be on par with Witten (at receiving) now that he's getting a tad long in the tooth. But we do have Escobar & Hanna, so I don't know...

One thing is for sure this is a young bunch of WR, Harris at age 26, Dez 25, Beasley and Williams 24. I would not mind adding a WR later in the draft but I do think we have a very good young group here whom I think will get better. I was impressed by the role that Beasley took over, he has very good quickness and very good hands and did a lot to help the Cowboys move the chains in what was really his 1st year with the oppertunity to play. I like this group and hope they can continue to play together for a good while.

I think if it is framed "who has the best passing offense" the Cowboys would no question be #1

I'd rather have the best DE's.

When healthy he gave us two #1 wideouts and an exceptional slot receiver. And yes he has been healthy some of the time.

Williams is the wild card. If he's legit, then I agree with Watkins' statement.

I think Williams will be obliged to prove himself comparable to Garcon before we can make a legitimate claim that he's his equal or better. Garcon has the credentials to indicate he's very good while Williams appears to be very good at this stage of his development, although he'll need to have a better year than Garcon in the upcoming season before that claim can stick. I do feel he's on track to have a good chance to fullfil that promise, however.

these slicing and dicing to get to be the best at something is the same as when vehicle companies do it, "we have the best coup, 2 door, 4 wheeled two back seat, best looking in the sun" in its class people. Seriously you cant beat that. Well Skins, we have the best aged TE in the game, so there.

I hope he can play at Garcon's level but I think he needs time to get there.....if he can.

Hope you're right. I think Garcon is one of the better WRs in the NFL.
