The way he is spending money, he is going to break the union or be dead broke. :laugh2:

    Full-blown, media dogpile.

Where is the persistent coverage of Talib's or Meriweather's relation to SHOOTINGS?

    Wow.

    Almost 1M in jewelry?

This kid is an idiot. Someone needs to reel him in.

    Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.

You won't find a bigger Dez fan than me. He was easily my favorite college player of memory. It was like a dream come true when Dallas drafted him last year.

I have to say though, this is just flat-out stupid of him and his so-called "advisors."

Someone on another thread tried to rationalize what's going on with Dez by saying, "hey, everyone on this board probably has debt..."

Problem is, I doubt anyone on this board is anywhere near as in debt as Dez is and for all things for jewelry. Maybe it's car payments, mortgage, a bad investment, but not for some stinkin' jewelry.

It's his business what he wants to spend his money on, but handle your business.

Also, I'm sure most of us are working to make a way to pay that debt. Dez apparently hasn't.

    Huge difference.

    Tighten up your business kid.

    What's your point?

Does added coverage of Talib and Meriweather make Dez's issues go away?

Do you think it's just unfair?

Okay, it's unfair, but that doesn't excuse Dez from being a bonehead.

I couldn't care less about the pants issue but spending this much money on jewelry is ridiculous.

It's based completely on projecting an image. No way in hell does anyone have that much jewelry if they aren't trying to put on a facade or play up to an image.

He lacks discipline much like the other young wide receivers we have.

Not looking good for young talented Bryant. Well, that’s why he fell in the draft.

Or reel him out, as the Cowboys had to do with another Pacman.

    :)

Except he hasn't done anything criminal.

I wouldn't get rid of him for being a fool with money but I would definitely tell the guy that he needs to learn a thing or two.

I do not get men wearing jewelry. Never have. I wear a watch and a wedding ring. I would wear a Super Bowl ring. That is the only jewelry he should be looking for. I would never wear earrings, bracelets, or necklaces.

This is exactly why he fell in the draft, immaturity. I just hope it stops soon, every day he's making headlines its ridiculous.

I agree. I'm not looking to get rid of him. I just hope someone who has his best interest at heart has a talk with him.

The lack of coverage for the truly criminal activities is disturbing; it's different being a Cowboy vs. a Pat or a Buc.

That being said, he's bringing this upon himself. He definitely doesn't know how to manage money effectively.

Agreed. It's amazing to me we've had barely any national media coverage on these 2 shootings compared to the silliness Dez is involved in.

    How's it amazing?

They're aren't Cowboys and are only facing speculation at this point.

I'm not surprised at all. Dez plays in Dallas. Guess that's the price of playing in Dallas.
