IRVING, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Jay Ratliff is eligible to come off the PUP list on Monday, Oct. 14. Ratliff is rehabbing from a sports hernia surgery at two different places, Valley Ranch with the team trainers and an undisclosed location. Coach Jason Garrett said Ratliff received permission to do this. Considering the issues Ratliff had with the Cowboys' strength and conditioning staff, it's unclear if he'll be activated next week.

Ratliff does not want to be a Cowboy. He wants out....now. Ratliff has mailed it in ever since he signed his big deal.

Garrett pretending how he is getting better and is getting closer to playing is laughable. They should just put him on IR, keep him out of the locker room and cut him after the year. That's what he wants. And it would be in the best interests of the team.

The undisclosed location where he is rehabbing (outside of VR) is his recliner in his media room at home.

Not counting on this guy, but I'll take anything in the way of DL depth.

It's crazy how quickly we've all turned on him, including myself. But if he comes back and in semi-good shape, this is the defense we've all wanted to see him in.

Could be exciting stuff just in time to make a late push... ala Osi getting healthy at the right time for a 2011 playoff run.

If you don't like the threads then stay out of them. Easy solution for you.

BTW, the NewsBot is a BOT so we get certain feeds automatically. Which is great for the membership and lessens the load on the staff.

I'm not counting on him for anything but if the team can get anything out of him then the next week or so is the time to do it. That money is gone. Might as well get some benefit. I assume if he's not going to play soon they have to IR him???

Edit: they have to sign him to the active roster by week 8.
