IRVING, Texas -- If there's any good news regarding the loss of Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, it revolves around coach Jason Garrett. It seems Garrett's job is on the line as he enters this win-or-go home game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night. Yet how difficult is it to judge Garrett in the biggest game of the season if he doesn't have his franchise quarterback? Jerry Jones fired defensive coordinator Rob Ryan last season despite numerous injuries to the defensive unit.

If there's a wrong decision to be made, Jerry will do it.

I'm going to agree with this.

I don't think we accomplish anything right now by letting Garrett go under these circumstances.

Without doubt..firing Garrett with the defense under Kiffin going so bad.. not going to make the HC position bring in a lot of quality candidates.

And this was clearly a rebuilding year on defense with or without the injuries Kiffin has had.

So now..Garrett will get another season to see what happens.

And I'm OK with that AS LONG AS..

..the rebuilding continues and Garrett starts to repair the cap situation..

and they sincerely address the QB situation with a real alternative.

It's spiraled out of control on his watch and he's had a hand in that.

time for Dallas to spend high draft pick on QB. As usually, Jerry waits for starter to break-down and then is forced to make a move. Jerry has mentally lost few steps.

Garrett had all year to win the division. It could have (and should have) been wrapped up by now.

Jerrah is nothing if he not a Wildcat owner.

His having a well come thru and payoff for him in Romo.

But unfortunately.. Jerrah has all his chips in the pot on this gamble.
