    CHICAGO -- Dallas Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne is with family and friends in Shreveport, La., dealing with the death of his father, Robert Owens. Claiborne had been dealing with a hamstring injury but had to curtail some of his rehab work because of the family issue. The Cowboys weren't expecting Claiborne to play against the Chicago Bears on Monday night because he still wasn't physically ready to play. "He's very close with his family," Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones said on 105.

    Tough year for Mo and this is easily the worst thing to happen to that young man.
