    SEATTLE -- When you look back on the Cowboys' 27-7 loss Sunday to Seattle, note how two early mistakes cost the visitors.

    Felix Jones fumbled the opening kickoff, leading to a 21-yard field goal by Steven Hauschka. Then, a blocked punt was recovered by Jeron Johnson, pushing the Seattle lead to 10-0. On the play, it appeared Dan Connor couldn't sustain a block by Malcolm Smith, who penetrated to block Chris Jones' attempt.

    "I felt like we were emotionally ready to play in the ballgame," Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said. "I thought we did a good job of battling back from some of the adversity that happened early in the ballgame. We gave them opportunities and we fought back, but as the game wore on they did more things to win the game than we did in all three phases than we did."
