Ahh heck, it's all Bush's fault. :banghead:

These idiots will still say that and keep running against Bush instead of McCain. And they will lose, just like I said months and months ago.

To be fair, it ain't just Obama. There has been a revolving backdoor between Congress and Fannie/Freddie for some time now. You sit on an oversight committee, take campaign contributions from those two NGEs, then move over to their board of directors after your tenure in Congress ends. With any luck, you make it up the food chain, pocket millions, and maybe sit in the CEO's chair for a spell. Unfortunately for the Dems, they have been the most prolific users of that revolving door. And, truth be told, Dems (along with more liberal Republicans hoping to get in on some of the action) repeatedly stonewalled any and all attempts at overhauling the structure and regulation of those two NGEs. McCain tried it - bust. Bush tried it - bust. And now, in Orwellian irony, Obama and the Dems are running about the 57+1 states insisting that Bush and the Republicans need to be hauled in front of Congressional hearings to attone for their sins. And, to add salt to that wound on logic's head, those who profiteered and plundered the most would likely sit in judgment of those who tried to stop it.

Dem'crats piled on Enrons Ken Lay until he died in prison.....

Obama campaign advisors Franklin Reigns and Jim Johnson, both former heads of Fannie Mae, Reighns pilfered 100 million from Fannie Mae, Johnson bout' half that........

Obama must be about change..............cause' Reigns and Johnson stole alot more from the taxpayers than Lay ever did........and he lands a top job on Obama's campaign staff.........

    thats change in Liberal terms......

the real scam started back with the "Big Scam"....Slick Willie....F.Reigns was his OMB director........must have learned to "cook the books" there....

Demcrat's B.Frank and C.Dodd have blocked any attempts at reform to Fannie Mae since 1992.....

You do realize that Ken Lay never died in Prison right?

As far as the other stuff. Politicians are about greed and power and that happens in both parties. That is why the Maverick has multiple powerful current or former lobbyists running his campaign.
