NEWTOWN, Conn. (AP) — A former National Football League player is facing charges of selling prescription painkillers from his Connecticut home.

Ex-Dallas Cowboys player Gennaro DiNapoli was charged last week with two counts of selling oxycodone. The Newtown resident was released on $150,000 bond and is due in Danbury Superior Court on June 17.

An arrest warrant affidavit says DiNapoli sold Drug Enforcement Administration undercover agents more than $6,000 worth of oxycodone pills in two transactions in April and May.

I can't wait until people come in here complaining about him being called an ex Cowboy.

    Should be a good time.

No wonder Parcells signed him. :D

But wasn't he in trouble for something like this a couple of years ago also?

I very vaguely remember this name. It's a blur. I remembering hearing the name in NFL circles, but completely forgot he was with us. Whatever.

A backup OL that Parcells brought in, IIRC.

    He's from "Lawn-gah" Island.

It's quite annoying that this guy only played 7 games as a Cowboy and the media is reporting it as "former Cowboy". He played twice as many games with 2 different teams...
