Working from home. My job doesn't need for me to actually show up for work or to work a certain schedule. I understand they can't quite afford to do it, but I do look forward to the day that showing up to a company's headquarters is considered 'primitive.'

Last time I put gas in my car.

Having to get up early in the morning to go to work.

    Challenger Explosion, 4th grade.

Berlin Wall going down 8th grade (IIRC)

    Gulf War 11th grade (IIRC)

My elementary school exploded after a gas leak, luckily it happened at 8pm at night on a Saturday and nobody was killed.

Gotta go across town and pick up a golf club I had re-shafted. Sat Morning - Gotta go get some blood work done for a routine Dr's Appt. on Tuesday. Then I have to drive to my parents new place about 80 minutes away. Go play golf with my dad at 2pm on Sat. Have early Easter dinner on Saturday night. Spend the night. Travel 80 mins home and play golf with a friend on Sunday at 1pm.

    3. If you could change one thing about your typical day, what would you change? Someone else clean up the kitchen after dinner.

    4. What, if any, historical events occurred during your elementary school days? Middle school? High school? I forgot, too long ago.

    1. What benefit do you wish your company offered? Self Employed, so I will say a membership to a country club so I didn't have to wait until payday to play golf.

    2. What was the last expense that took you by surprise? Gas for my truck. Disgusting how high the price is getting and nothing is being done.

    3. If you could change one thing about your typical day, what would you change? I would add a bathroom just for me. A wife and 2 teenage daughters doing hair and makeup equals I have to hold it a lot.

    4. What, if any, historical events occurred during your elementary school days? Middle school? High school? The main one I remember was Ronald Reagan getting shot. Our 11th grade History teacher had the news reports pumped in over the PA system and for our entire class period we listened not knowing if he was dead or alive. Then our assignment was to write how it made us feel. I've never forgotten that.

    5. Plans for the (long) weekend? Hopefully my Mom's last surgery tomorrow morning, then swimming and a picnic with the family later that afternoon, and finally church on Sunday with a nice Easter ham, au gratin potatoes, corn on the cob for dinner with lemon meringue pie for desert.

I easily could have used this as well... It cost me 51.00 to fill up a 6 Cylindar Acura on Monday. Unbelievable.

    1. What benefit do you wish your company offered?

Massage. Of course, it would have to be certificates to a local place because my office is in NY, but still.

    2. What was the last expense that took you by surprise?

The first real heating bill we got in our new house this last December. The thermostat dropped like a rock after that. Get a sweater! :D

    3. If you could change one thing about your typical day, what would you change?

I'd have a personal chef to make us dinner. I like cooking but I really don't have time or inclination to make anything too complicated after a day of work.

    4. What, if any, historical events occurred during your elementary school days? Middle school? High school?

    Jonestown mass suicide (3rd grade)
Ronald Regean getting shot (6th grade)
    Challenger exploded (10th grade)

    5. Plans for the (long) weekend?

Working, coloring Easter Eggs with the kiddo for the first time, maybe some yard work.

Yeah, it was nearly 50 bucks for my Toyota.

I actually told my wife that we need to look at a hybrid vehicle for the family. There is absolutely no way I'd make a long drive trip any more except in one of these gas saving toys. It is stupid.
