SAN DIEGO -- Romo played all but the last series of the first half Saturday night, and he emerged in perfect health. He was not sacked and hit only once. But the same couldn't be said about the first-team offense's performance. Romo was only 4 of 11 for 30 yards with an interception and a touchdown.

"We had some mistakes all across the board," Romo said. "Each play, it seemed we had someone doing something wrong. I made a mistake, someone on the O-line made one, a receiver. It was right across the board. We all have to pick it up, go back and correct what we did wrong. We'll get better with it this week."
His 9-yard touchdown pass to Miles Austin at the end of the first half was the first touchdown of the preseason for the Cowboys' offense.

"We executed," Romo said. "We've practiced that play, and it is all part of the process. It's what we expected to do with it this week, and hopefully we just get better with it."

It looks as though Brewster and Leonard Davis can work things out on the right side. The sluggishness comes with having to get momentum again, and a new group of players on the offensive line, but one hit from a team that continually blitzed and shook things up on 3rd was a good night as to a lack of mistakes. Things will pick up here, but depth has at least been shown in the offensive line.
