I think he would at least stabilize the kicker spot for the rest of the season. I know he is up there in age, but since we are gearing to "Win Now!" wow not bring him in here to polish off the kicking game to give us 1 less thing to worry about?

If you want to go geriatric, kicker is probably the best position. I would be alot more enthusiastic about signing ole Morton than say, Vinny Testaverde.

I'd bring him in. Our kickoffs would suck but I guarantee we'll make any and all FGs under 40 yards.

Well if your little girl can kick the ball through the uprights then you should give Bill a call.

Well, at least Andersen would have hit that 29 yarder. He's money from under 30 yards!

Did anyone hear Madden and Michaels relaying a message from Morton last night that he IS in fact available and ready to play?

Madden called out Parcells and said he might want to give him a call.

    I say go for it.

Sounded like Morton was targeting Dallas specifically with the al/Madden thing.

If Mcbriar could kick off id do it

I like the idea too. This guy is money from 40 and under. We'll have McBriar work on FGs from 40+, he's definitely got the leg strength.

He can't kickoff anymore -- well, he can technically but he can't get the ball past the 15. Parcells will totally love that.

And don't give me that McBriar can kick off stuff -- he can't -- if he could he would be doing it.

Sign Matt Bahr!!! I know this guy could still kick anything under 40 yards...

Knowing what you know now, who wouldn't have preferred signing Morton Anderson over Jose "Fingerpointer" Cortez? The fact is, whether it's Suisham, Cundiff, or Joe Blow, he can't be any worse.
