When he's on, and our dork coach will feed him, he's beast mode 1.2345.
He's averaged over 5 yards a carry 2 out of his 3 years in the league. He's criminally underrated by opposing fans and our coaching staff.
By underappreciated you mean the coaching staff, right?
Unfortunately you are probably correct. To be fair I wouldn't break the bank on any RB. That seems to be a throwaway position in todays NFL.
Unless he turns into AP this year, absolutely let him walk.
And especially on a team coached by Jason Garrett. We might as well just go with an undrafted free agent each year.
Me!! 2-12 baby!!
Happy Birthday Demarco.
It's amazing that he still got over 1,000yds despite the coaching staffs best effort to shut him down.
He ONLY carried the ball like 200 times and had 1000 plus yards. Amazing to me really and don't forget he missed two games as well.
I would try to trade him for a pick, if possible. He is a free agent after next year and I really don't want to throw big money at the guy. I would rather charge another team to rent him for a year than get nothing for him after next season or pay him a lot of money.
Why create a new hole for a draft pick that most likely won't be as effective, especially in the passing game? And you don't get nothing if he walks. They can get a pretty good comp pick if he leaves, but they also have the option of keeping him at the right price.
Just not a big fan of paying running backs money, especially with the way we use running backs.
No one said big money. His cap hit this year is 1.5m, that great for a 1000yd RB. Ben Tate this year should give a pretty good idea what the market is like for Murray next year. If it's too steep they can let him walk and get a comp pick.
He's still on his rookie contract, so yes, he is a bargain. I think Murray will command more than Tate.
Im not sure if Demarco is a member on here but still happy birthday fella
Pls be advised that any singing of "H**** B******* To Y**" is disallowed unless you pay royalties to the songwriters. Mississippi and parts of Arizona are excluded since they are not really government entities.
Happy, happy, happy, happy DeMarco. Hope they give you the ball 35 times ever game next season! We need you!!!!
