How is that possible? Anyways, they were in the good graces of the refs and we still find a way to pull the W out!

    edit: whoops, wrong forum.

it's the Stealers, they've been the beneficiary of preferential treatment for decades!

Yes, it has happened before. I think the 90s Cowboys did it once if I'm not mistaken.

Yes, IIRC. In one of the SB's against Pittsburgh, they didn't have a single penalty called. Even when one of them kidney punched one of our guys when he was walking back to the huddle.

Either that or my memory is worse than I thought.:laugh2:

BS on the 0 penalties. The Steelers got away with multiple blatant holds.

No, but a team might have gone without a penalty.

Actually it was the 1989 cowboys. In their only victory that season (at RFK Stadium against Gibbs and the Redskins), Dallas had zero turnovers and zero penalties.

The only other game I can remember recently was also against Dallas, the Jets opener last season.

I also think Spencer had a pick and Brown fumbled that ball. Spencer takes 1 1/2 steps and starts to move the ball before it comes out and Brown takes a SECOND hit before he coughs it up.

Funny how the close one always seem to favor the Steelers.

They were called for a hold in the end zone that was offsetting.

They also held Witten late on a pass play that could have easily been called.

Not sure they are all that disciplined. They average 6.5 penalties per game which isn't even top half of the league.

I saw several holds and one block in the back that could've been called against Pitt today. They get lots of lucky calls and no calls. It's amazing that we beat them despite all of that.
