Does this mean we are keeping Felix?
Love both of these hirings. Nutt knows how to coach Rbs. Thurman Thomas, Barry Sanders, even McCluster was a beast in college. At coaching Rbs he's a beast.
Marinelli is a GREAT hire. He will be Kiffins successor at DC
So is Jerry!
Marinelli is a very good defensive coach. Hes a tough one too.
I wouldn't be against this move.
i'm hoping we can get Hillis in here since it sounds like he won't be back in Kansas City. assuming of course he at least gets back to 60% of that guy who tore up the league in Cleveland.
Houston was a salesman and a rah-rah guy as a head coach, but his background coming through the coaching ranks suggests he knows how to get the job done.
Marinelli is a great hire. He could easily be a coordinator elsewhere.
Nutt... I'd really rather we went with a younger guy who wants to claw his way up the ranks.
That is a TERRIBLE aspersion on that great American Product that our GI's and much of the world survived WW2 on.
I wouldn't be surprised. We likely do what we did with Spears etc. Let him test the market then if he doesn't get any bites sign him for a cheap deal
RB coach for Nutt... I can live with that.
Yeah, I cannot believe he said that!
Fried Spam on some bread with mustard...yummy! I had one yesterday for lunch as a matter of fact.
I used to get some with little cheese chunks in the Spam, but, I guess they don't sell it anymore...at least where I live.
Them eating doesn't mean I have to like it.
If Nutt can teach a ball carrier to recognize a defensive front and it's weakness than that's all I care about.
I like fried Spam too.
And if he don't, Jerry will bust that Nutt...wait a minute...
is it Garrett that's hiring these guys or is Jerry forcing Garrett to work with these guys? (i also assume that Garrett is staying?)
That's just been one of my longtime gripes; that it seems Jerry hires a HC then forces him to work w/ the staff Jerry picks for him.
Now if Garrett could only hire a headcoach....
