    wah wah wah.

What they spend on football is PEANUTS compared to what is wasted and stolen elsewhere. At least you get a good product with football teams most of the time.

I hear ya. Comparing the tax liability imposed on tax payers to the expense of the Military Industrial Complex, or the hidden tax that's resulting from the endless printing of US dollars is laughable. I'm not saying it's the right thing to do, but lets get our priorities straight when it comes to the real fleecing of the American taxpayers.

Of course, the interesting part is the difference between their talk, and what they actually do.

Or the billions wasted in virtually every part of the government. Fraud, waste and abuse is rampant in the federal government and down the line to states, counties and cities. It would not surprise me if fully one third of the budget was lost that way.

Which mirrors my experiance with big business. When you get big, you get loads of slop. Of course, I know people who worked for Tycho and Enron.

The NFL does have highly paid people who go around telling players they were wearing their socks wrong. And fine them for it.
