Ok, I'm a victim of the recent Ice Storm here in Oklahoma... My question is, how many of you would either stick without satellite TV for the duration of the "thaw out" or would you attempt to climb your icy ladder and on to your icy roof just to clear the satellite? I uh,,,chose option 2. I first knocked the ice off the ladder, then knocked out spots on the shingles so I could stand. Then I slowly went to the top, had to straddle the peak of the roof then slide over about 6-8 feet and then whack at the antenna. I did notice cars slowly driving by possibly waiting for a Youtube moment. After I was done, I somehow made it down safely. Next time? I'll probably not go up again.
