You know the big mouths that say Tony has very poor skills leading this team.

I don't know what else you could ask for. Drew is more animated and i assume manning is the master but this is Romo's team plain and simple.

Romo to Dez after the dropped pass: "Come on!! You're the best on the field, act like it!!"

    Good stuff...

I guess I'm one of those you are citing as an example because I've never considered Tony as this great leader of men.

I say that not to bash him but usually when they show him on the bench he's just sitting there.

    I'll pay more attention.

Ok and your point? This team barely beat a 5-10 Vikings? ??

He's not a natural leader like Aikman and Staubach. But he's gotten better.

Romo is a great player and leader. There is no right way to do it, but the key is your guys knowing that they get 100% from you, you are in the trenches with them, and you have their backs. Romo does all these things.

I will miss Romo when he is gone and am saddened that, thus far, this stupid team wasted such a talented QB.

You can't really talk about his leadership unless your on the field or in the locker room with him, but these sound bites lead me to believe he is a great leader. Maybe he's not the most fiery in-your-face type of guy but that's just who he is. These armchair GM's always make me laugh.

Please. Do not anger a Romo critic.

And your point is not the point either. not to argue but this does not matter to me that the Vikings were a poor team. Put the better players around Tony and don't ask him to find a way to work magic and he won't throw those pics. Give him a defense he can trust to get him back on the field and he won't force things because he has to make the most of his limited oportunities.

It's really not being careless because he shows all the signs of a vet QB...He knows the cards he has been delt and who to lean on.

maybe the 13-3 season is on him but he's much better now if the "Back" is not an issue.

The guy is almost ten years older than Dez he should get on him. I think most of the Tony is not a leader stuff went down when T.O. was here. I can guarantee you he never talked to T.O. Like that.

I understand the opinion but how exactly do you guarantee something like that?

Not sure Aikman was the leader he's made out to be. Irvin and Emmitt ran those teams. If Romo was on those teams, there would be no debate.

If by "natural leader" you mean "blessed to play with Manster, Ed Jones, Martin, Dorsett, Hill, Pearson, Newhouse, Emmitt, Irvin, Allen, Haley, Deion, etc.", yeah, you're right...

Ok so your saying Demarco Murray, Jason Witten, Dez Bryant, Cole Beasly, with a solid offensive line is not good enough for Romo to do his job?
Lets separate this team into 3 parts. Offense, Defense and special teams... Now if the defense and specials teams fails it just fails. You can't fault Romo for not scoring 50 points. If the offense constantly flutters ( which it did a lot last year) or can't deliver when the ball is in their court. I do blame Romo, especially if it's his fault.?
If the guy is a leader or not at his point I don't care. When we needed his leadership he wasn't there so the team fell apart. I'm just ready for this Romo era to end. I'm ready for this team to move on. This team isn't perfect enough on defense for Romo to take us to the playoffs so we might as well write this season off.

    Great stuff.

This happens way more often than the ever age joe realizes.

Is it me,or does Dwayne Harris just flat out have a nose for the end zone?

And man, Adrian Peterson is such a beast.

No teams are built like that anymore yet somehow we still have great leaders in the league. I love how people act like the the late 2000s teams were chopped liver.
