He'll look for his Kavika Pittman and Shante Carver.
This thread spews of negativity. Holy crap.
We're actually in pretty position to draft a solid O lineman. What's all this crap about Jerry not doing so? Didn't we draft Tyron?
That's why considering his awful draft history on the OLine, you cannot trust him to draft those positions past the 50th pick. When he uses early picks, he usually hits on them - Flozell, Gurode, Tyron. When he tries to be cute and find "steals" past the 3rd round, they usually flop (Marten, Arkin, Brewster, Petiti, McQuistan, Sam Young, and now Free is looking like a fraud).
So all you folks with the mock drafts using a mid to late rounder on an OLinemen...forget it. With Jerry, you can't count on him to find gems there.
Both this game and the National Championship Game underscored how vital building the offensive line is.
lol, thats the third post tonight where you taken the words out of my [strikE]mouth[/strikE] keyboard almost word for word
I gotta laugh so I don't cry
You notice that Brian Kelly's offense is identical to ours?
It was a pain watching him run his receivers deep into coverage over and over.
Jerry picks his nose on national TV. His credibility is questionable.
He'll soon have somebody else doing that for him as well.
Warmack is my top target, hopefully he does not go at 16. Watching these playoff teams today just made me realize that we could not compete with these guys today...Sad.
Hahaha. Can't you just see the hand coming around Jerry's head as he watches the game. The thumb slowly slides up in Jer's nostril and digs around. Then pulls out a nose oyster and flicks it away.
Don't worry. Our 72 year old coach will find a way to stop these innovative offenses.
I am going to venture out and say that safety might be the first pick in the draft for Dallas. However I do think they will be active in FA to upgrade the oline. I know some have pointed out a few options who are young guys that are solid hard working FA on the line. That's why I believe they won't re-sign spencer as they will use those funds on a couple of guards. I don't think they are going to upgrade center as I think they really like Costa and Cook is a solid backup. Now the question becomes do they go and sign a tackle to replace Free? Or are they going into camp with Parnell at RT? Which I like his upside as he is a big dude very strong and have good feet. I think he just needs more reps he is a raw guy and I think we might actually hit on this guy IMO.
My father is 69 and still works six days a week. Age doesn't really matter. Health and will power do.
of course not. we only beat one playoff team this season (bengals).
yet, he won't delegate more important duties, the irony....
and we played the Ravens pretty tough in their backyard.
as for the Round 1 pick, I think we'll end up going DL.
And I think we'll pick up 1 quality OL in FA.
Dudes are just unloading on Jerry :spanking:
It's more about the stubbornness and unwillingness to adjust that I don't like about the older coaches.
Their scheme, in theory, should work but even though it doesn't they will just keep plugging away with it.
Then you get fullbacks gashing you in the passing game and QBs like John Jitna looking like Joe Montana against you.
