Wow.. the Cowboys got roasted by the Redskins? Losing by 7 points is "roasted"?
Yeah he forgot they made a comeback
The Cowboys got beat a lot worse than the score indicated. They were down by 27 points at halftime and Washington let up. Even Shanahan said after the game he couldn't believe it was that easy. Had Washington stayed on the Cowboys they would have scored over 50 points.
They should have had 45 points but even a punk like Deangelo Hall had mercy on them. When the Cowboys last second onside kick attempt bounced to him and he broke toward the end zone he took a knee at the one yard line. That may end up being a stupid move because points scored are part of playoff tie breakers.
You can't advance a onside kick which is why he stopped at the 1 yd line:banghead:
We just lost to a 4 win on Thanksgiving and the game before that was an OT nailbitter against the power house Browns.
And you are calling out a poster for thinking we could lose to the Birds?
Heard the same thing before the Clevland game as well.
How that work out?
They had a total of 4 wins going into the Thanksgiving day game, ergo.......a 4 win team.
As far as "they are better than their record shows".......see Parcells (you are what your record says you are).
The Browns and Skins have already proved they are a better team than the Eagles
Yeah a 4 win team with a much better QB
Is that why the Eagles beat the Browns already?
They also each have 3 wins, so how exactly has the Brown's "proven" to be a better team when they not only have the same record, but the Eagles beat them this year?
I have a copy of the Eagles/Browns game that I can send to you on DVD so you can see what I;m talking about
And anyone who watched that game knows that the Eagles didn't beat the Browns
The receiving team can advance an onside kick. A few years ago Randal Williams a WR for the Cowboys returned an onside kick for a TD vs Philly it took just 3 seconds. My advice is research the facts before posting so you don't continue losing credibility.
They had one fewer win than the Cowboys heading into Thanksgiving. Washington has one of the best, most exciting players in the NFL at QB and has only managed 5 wins because the rest of their team has holes. As a whole they're not as talented a team as the Cowboys.
They have better coaching and a great young QB who has the team and fans very excited. Take RG3 out of their lineup the Cowboys would have easily won on Thanksgiving. The story of that game was RG3.
Problem is that RG3 is going to be giving us nightmares for the next 10 years.
Anything can happen, but now that we know we're facing the rookie again, losing to the Eagles would justify putting all coaches on notice.
Whats scary is RG3 beat us with pedestrian receivers,rb and an average OL.
He's the real deal. A QB capable of winning a game almost by himself when he's hot.
he had some help, though, from those pedestrian WRs. That Garcon catch behind his back on the move was a beautiful play. And the blown coverage was a nice route and a good catch in stride on top of a perfect throw.
And besides no outcome in the NFL these days is unthinkable. None. Nada. Zip.
If pedestrian = your unfamiliarity...then maybe so.
