So did anyone watch the first episode of the miniseries this weekend?

I thought it was pretty good, but it was a tad odd....the timing or spacing was just a little odd, like they skipped too much time between things but over all I liked it and look forward to the rest of the series.

I'll tivo the rest of it, I hate TNT and their usual 12 minutes of show 6-7 minutes of commecials format that turns an hour and ten minutes into two hours of chopped up mess.

I hate that as well....they showed back to back showings of the episode this past weekend so I hope they do it the same the rest of the way.

So I did as you plan on doing, I recorded it on DVR (my cable company's version of Tivo) and then after it went off I watched it and skipped throught he commericals.

Unfortunately, I didn't catch all of the first episode.

But I certainly agree with you, BP, about the timing and spacing. The parts that I saw seemed disjointed and terribly rushed.

It's like they're trying to hurry things along too much. The young man and the Indian girl (sorry, can't remember the names) acted like they had been in love their whole lives, but actually had just met .. or so it seemed.

I love Westerns, and I'm glad they made this, but there's something amiss here.

I too enjoyed it..........It did seem not to flow well, but it was the first show. I like how it's showing western movement from the Native American point of view....not only from the American.

I liked that I could watch this show with my kids.......very few curse words. I hope the show continues along those lines.
