Pagano is a run first HC and as others have pointed out - Trent Richardson absolutely SUCKS. Reggie Wayne is out as is Allen. They are going to war with a squirt gun right now. Luck has enormous talent. I submit that were it not for Luck, this Colt team would be in contention to be one of the worst teams in the league right now. Luck is holding this decimated team together.

I don't think he's overrated. Maybe his rookie year was a bit overhyped. His numbers were not overly great or anything, And he had to win a lot of games at the end so he played well with the game on the line. But he's like any other QB in the league. You have to have weapons to throw to and a running game to complement.

He's overrated by those putting in the top 5 already. No way he is that.
But he's not overrated by those that see him as an ideal young franchise QB. His potential is immense and it requires no gimmicks for him to grow into that potential.

16 of 31 for 187 yards, no TDs and 1 INT, these are Luck's numbers today against the Titans with 6 minutes left in the game. Being the most liked player doesn't mean you're the better player. He's obviously on a better team, that's for sure.

RGIII was 16 of 26 for 118 yards, no TDs and 1 INT in his last game.

Luck has better numbers than Griffin does for the entire season. I think they will both be good, but right now Luck is having the better year.

I agree with that, he is having the better season. But I also feel he's bit overrated and gets a free pass when he plays poorly.

I agree, it has nothing to do about being liked. Luck is just a better quarterback.

The guy is only in his second year and his best weapons are injured.

    What do you expect???

For me he's the real deal and Dallas would be most fortunate to land a QB of his ability when Romo hangs up his cleats.

Never by that score this season but they lost 40-11 to the Cardinals and 38-8 to the Rams. 2 teams that are not that great, especially the Rams.

They did indeed. I'm just wondering why someone had to make up a score to try to prove a point.

Also, maybe was already stated but Luck benefited greatly from Reggie Wayne. Once he went down, compare his numbers and there is a huge margin of difference. That was his guy and he counted on him. Every QB has one. Their offense just is not anywhere close to what it was with him in the lineup. And that stupid Richardson trade did not help matters.

I don't overrate him and don't see a lot of people doing so. He has been a little disappointing overall but he needs a lot of help on offense. Wayne is down, Dwayne is down, his O line blows and they need a better running game.

His OC from college, Pep Hamilton, is a god awful play caller as well.

He obviously hasn't been the best from his class so far, though.

People are still trying to say that RGIII is anything close to the same QB as Luck? I thought that argument was put to bed long ago.

Luck is probably the second best QB right now of that group the way Wilson is playing. BUT you cannot discount all those 4th QTR comebacks he has had. That has a cumulative effect- the Colts know if they can keep it close he can win it for them. That kind of confidence is hard to measure in how much effect overall that it has but it is not small.

The Colts are not as good a team as they looked at the end of last year. They had no depth which shows up now with those injuries.

Maybe a tad but I think he is the future of the position. With Wayne gone, he has no one to throw to and no running game either.. This Colts team is not very good imo.

I think he is overrated. I still think he is a very good young QB who will likely be a great QB one day.

Pretty crazy how Seattle snagged Wilson in the 3rd who appears to be the best of the group.

I think Wilson is very good and he also has a very good offensive line to play behind. That is a great combination to have. Luck's line isn't that good right now.

The Texans should have rolled thru that division & instead may be getting the first overall pick.

    Football is nuts.
