Probably. He needs to confirm last year.
Top ten? I think Dak might be good enough for consideration among the top five, although further evidence is yet to be submitted.
Well, if he did that, then he'd destroy the matrix for how I evaluate a quarterback. But I'm not expecting that. My evaluation is based on more realistic measurements. Your scenario CLEARLY would be outside realistic measurements.
As I've said over and over, if a guy like Carr is top 10 based on last season's performance (his 1st 2 years were average), then so should Dak.
Well going by qbr, he is.
Then same applies to Carr.
Matrix - a rectangular array of quantities or expressions in rows and columns that is treated as a single entity and manipulated according to particular rules.
The operative word being "manipulated".
Now you're just trolling.
lol. So I ttroll only the posts you don't agree with.
Dak is the Top Qb for the Dallas Cowboys, that's all that matters.
Is that a serious question? Here is a easy test. Name 10 QB's better than Dak. Bet they couldn't do it.
I have no doubt.
Plenty of guys have had one good season. Need to see him do it again.
For all quarterbacks in the NFL with 300 or more career passes, Dak is ranked #1 in history.
Yes, he has only been in the league for one year, but.......after only one year, DAK IS RANKED #1 IN HISTORY!
Rookies don't come in and take their team on an elevan game winning streak. They don't get minimum attention and reps throughout the minicamps and preseasons then go out and set a record for attempts before 1st INT. They don't tie up a division round playoff game with less than a minute to play after being down by 18 points. They don't shred #1 defenses.
And if they were drafted in the 4th round? Hail, they don't get on the plane! They certainly din't deliver stats worthy of Hall of Famers.
In the top ten? Seriously? There is no category for what Dak has done because it has NEVER been done before.
I am telling you, we are seeing the next Roger Staubach/Joe Montana/Tom Brady.
Today, this very moment, Dak Prescott is a top 2 quarterback. I''ve seen enough of Rodgers to give him his due but I won't concede the #1 spot to him.
Dak is a top 5 QB
1. Brady (he's in a class by himself)
4. Big Ben
Carr has had two strong years
Let him develop.
In your book his 2nd year is strong, not mine. Completed only 61.1 passes, and a 91.1 qbr. To me that's average. And thru 3 seasons, he is 60.9 completion %, and 87.9 qbr. But yet, people say that is good enough for him to be top 10 qb, but not Dak after a historic rookie season, and #3 in qbr behind Matt Ryan and Tom Brady.
His 2nd year wasnt as good as last year, but 32 TDs, 13 ints, and a 91.3 established a solid base that he built on. Thats all
As for Dak. I wont even go there. He was excellent. Great rookie year. Outstanding.
61.1 completion with 91 qbr. If Dak did that this year, no way would the people who said he wasn't top 10 after his rookie year, then put him in the top 10 because of those stats for his 2nd year.
