I was amazed Cundiff nailed a 56 yarder. So was everyone else at the bar.
"How long was that field goal?" , a couple people asked.
Way to come back Billy.
Cundiff: "what the"
Romo: "oh yeah"
"Cortez wouldnt let me do this, Im so glad your back"
Cundiff came in and nailed a 56 yard field goal (Cowboys franchise record) like it was nothing. I was completely shocked. Cundiff shocked the world.
Billy the Kid has been a very good young kicker in this league. I am not shocked at his potential in the NFL.
Only reason he was waived was injury settlement.
I think I speak for most of us, we all said, "Thank God", when we re-signed Cundiff. We never saw Suishman kick a long FG, but you know what, I don't think I really missed out. I said it before this game, remember the big kicks he has made...St. Louis from 52 a few years ago, the Giants game..twice, to send it into OT, and then to win it.
At least now I'm pretty sure that we will hit from within 40. Sadly I was right about Cortez costing us a few games.
What was that about a weak leg?
Its almost embarassing how glad I am hes back
Billy Cundiff (front) attempts to earn trust from coach Parcells
by showing the team that he can "take it like a man." Second
string QB Tony Romo said, "I was just glad to finally get some
Funny, I have to admit. That kick was a thing of beauty though. Watch it again, it could have been 60 yards and it would have been right up the middle.
Yea, hes been working on kicking for a few weeks apparently
Guess we will hear about the gun in the blog this week.
It's amazing Steve Hoffman is unemployed....the guy can just flat out coach.
Not quite the waterboy pic I was wanting but Romo looks like sandler from the waterboy movie in that picture.
I love that sig Brain Paint
