Is Tony Romo's new deal Jerry's worst move?

but...Dallas won the SB with Deon.

Wow....McNabb has room to talk, :laugh2:, they are the same QB thus far.

Which he should have prepared to cut the cord....Now!!!!

    Why extend the unenviable?

Draft a guy now....E.J. Manuel (Quincy Carter 2.0), Tyler Wilson, Tyler Bray.....hell I'd even settle for a trade for Ryan Mallett.

But to commit this team for another 6 years of this?:banghead:

Boy...if we thought the 5-11 trifecta hurt......Just wait

Football might be fun in Dallas by the year 2020

Not to talk you off a cliff, go ahead and jump.

Romo is better than the top 2 QBs in the 2013 NFL Draft ie. Geno Smith or Matt Barkley much less Ryan Fitzpatrick, Matt Cassel or Alex SMith.....complaining helps me laugh those who insistently harp on complaints and whine when Dallas just cleared 5 million for this year.

Do yourself a fav....Squat and Watch.

I really don't understand the logic with some of you fans. You make it seem like Romo is the only reason we lose, and never the reason we win. You can't point to his playoff wins because I know for a fact no QB in NFL history has ever won a playoff game by himself. It's just mind boggling how people don't seem to understand that football is a team game.

The fact is Romo puts us in the best position to win games now.

Not even close. The Galloway and Roy Williams trades are easily his worst moves along with the hires of Switzer and Campo.

This is exactly the short sighted view of the franchise I despise.

    Everything for today....

Bet you have 4 credit cards....all maxed out..... and are barely making minimum payments.

Romo had his shot. 1-7 in elimination games. Time to move on...

Or @ least that was the correct move.

So Floaty would rather have a new Quincy Carter than a Romo for the next 3-4 years. Shoudl tell you all you need to know.

Because that is all it is....a 4 year deal...he will never see the last 3 years as currently constructed, and if we let him go at the end of 4, he costs a whopping 5m in dead space. WE'LL NEVER SURVIVE THAT!!!!

THere are several guys that will be gone next year that free up space. ANd there are 8-10 guys that can be cut after this year with lot's of cap savings.

Of course, for some people it's much more fun to scream that the sky is falling than to look and figure things out on their own.

The Roy Williams trade then signing him to an extension. By far the worst.

The price for Galloway was steep for sure but he was not an enigma at the time of the trade, unlike Roy. At that time Galloway was a good player and added a speed element to the team. Unfortunately Galloway got injured early that 1st season then Aikman was forced to retire i think the same season. We were then a mess and a talent like Galloway is wasted with jokers like Quincy, Hutchison and Henson playing QB. He went on to TB to have a few good seasons.

Roy on the other hand simply could not play. We trade for him, sign him to an extension and then he's out of the league in 2 years at the age of 30.

Not a big fan of this deal. I don't think you can win a Super Bowl with Romo. But what's done is done. Hope he proves me wrong.

Yeup, so don't be too surprised when Dallas Drafts a QB to develop this year and in the future.

Credit Cards are to be paid off monthly no exceptions, if there's a new wayy...well I'll be the first in line....but it better work this time. The answer isn't on the table, it's in the hand your dealt.

Not to argue for the Romo haters...but...

Without strapping that kind of cash into could rebuild nicely.

That's the big thing. Sure Romo is a good QB. If you Romo guys thought he was limited because of available talent...this move made it that much tougher.

Wait. Did an injun fan just lecture us about investing too much into a QB?

    That's rich.

It better be some major cuts. The last figure I saw had Dallas at over $148,000,000 on the payroll. Stephen is the cap master.

There are 31 fanbases in the NFL that are not Cowboys fans. What do you expect?
