That was before news broke this week that the National Football League Players Association reportedly is recommending incoming rookies not attend the draft in person, apparently as a type of boycott due to the NFL lockout.

Watt is projected to be picked as high as sixth overall, to the Cleveland Browns, and appears to have a decent chance of landing in the top 10.

"It's crazy," Watt said. "If you would have told me that when I was a sophomore in high school (at Pewaukee), I probably would have dropped on the ground.

Them: "Don't attend the draft, you belong to a union that you've never been in that's also been dissolved."

Me: "Kindly go *string of expletives* yourself."

J.J. Watt is a second round value.

He may go top 20, but I wouldn't touch him in round 1.

This guy has top 20 bust written all over him and good luck to the team that picks him in the top 10.

In my opinion, when you are drafted you are property of the NFL, and once your under contract you are officially a player.

So just being drafted doesn't make you an NFL player. You have to sign a deal and make a team first.

Therefore, ALL of them should attend.

I typically always agree with you but I could not agree less this time.

With that said, I know right now he's receiving grades all over the place from top 10 to early round 2 but the middle ground seems to be in the 11-18 range.
