On ESPN Mike and Mike.
Can he coach a secondary?
overdue. Should have canned him years ago.
Link (I think twitter is down)
Might join the college ranks.
Rob Ryan might go to Jacksonville.
I saw this about 20 minutes ago on Twitter via Adam Shefter.
I figured it was coming, probably should have happened a couple years ago, but I am a bit surprised it happened before the end of the season.
You trying to ship Ryan out?
Not Jack of the River!
Then Jacksonville will stay in the world of mediocracy.
Jacksonville is a tough place to land a great coach. Florida would be the last place I would ever purchase a franchise in any sport. Miami, Tampa, both bad, but Jacksonville is 3x worse.
I know that but he can't be any worse than Campo.
Yeah, he looked tired and done years ago.
Recapping this very Jaguar morning

This is a fun job because you never know what each morning will bring.
This morning brought seismic changes in Jacksonville that will shape the next decade of the Jaguars franchise.
If you missed any of it, here’s a quick recap:
Jack Del Rio was fired as head coach. Mel Tucker will be the interim head coach.

Spent a couple of seasons with us as a player, in fact. He sure won't help the secondary.
Big changes for that franchise- at least the fans have something to distract them from their teams record this season.
Welcome the Los Angeles Jagaurs
I knew Del Rio was toast when he let Garrard go. By doing that he really put the rookie QB on the spot. They all found out real quick how tough it had been for Garrard with weak receivers and an average to below average line. How he was routinely ranked in the top 12-14 QBs (and a couple of years much higher) was beyond me.
That defense is greatly inproved. With the weaker AFC South this year, they probably gave up 5-6 wins by going with Gabbert. Maybe long-term it'll pay off.
