    LMAO.

I'm assuming that superior team is picking ahead of Dallas for no reason.

Allen had more than twice as many sacks and twice as many tackles. You serious clark?

Ayers is a JAG. Getting him doesnt solve the gaping pass rush hole on the team.

That superior team pounded the Cowboys with half of their defense missing and their backup QB. Played in a tougher division too. Cute try though.

I had almost forgotten that embarrassment of a game. Thanks for bringing those memories back.

I think Selvie turned into Ware last year with 7 sacks vs 6 for Ware. Those 7 Selvie sacks will cost 730k and Ware's will cost 12.75m.

Basically Selvie is the 'after the dot' compared to Ware

I am sure its back loaded and with a nice signing bonus to spread the up front cost and the dead money eventually. but too much to pay for a 33 year old player.

Might not be better last year but they are closer than we are to winning thats for sure.

According to reports the 4th year will be voidable and that even as a 3 year deal it still averages 8 million. 15.5 million guaranteed. So it appears it's pretty straight forward in compensation with just the the bonus spread out over the 4 years.

    Ah, happy fans......gotta love them
    Better QB(who is healthy)
Better RB, WRs, D-Line, Linebackers, DBs
We got them at TE and Oline by a small margarine

    too much to pay.

so they will be on the hook for the prorated portion of the bonus if/when they cut him after two years.

it also seems like a move bears had to make to counter the GB move. GB got one over the hill past his prime guy, so bears had to counter :)

Thats too bad. Would have loved him here but not at a 4 year deal. Sometimes saying NO is the best thing for this team anyways. Doesn't mean Chicago won't need Donald. They still do and will probably draft him if his available. I think the only way to get Donald is to trade up.

But now what we need is a passrushing DE. I do hope Barr falls to us and Im doubt we are can get Mack. I would trade up for Mack or Barr but thats me. Or we can stay put and take Ealy, which is probably what were going to do.

Cutler isn't better than Romo. I'd say we are pretty equal at Rb and CB. They have better safeties. All in all both teams are about an 8-8 quality team, although we have matched up poorly with them in recent years.

Broaddus claims that Ealy isn't the Cowboys type of DE.

Allen had twice as many snaps as Ayers. And even then Allen generated 34 QB pressures. Ayres had 31.

And Ayers is far better vs the run.

No, Ayers wouldn't get the number of sacks Allen would but given the difference in salary I think Ayres could have a place on the Cowboy roster. Maybe sign Ayres and Shawn Phillips and they could share the position.

Doesn't matter what he thinks. Clowney, Mack, and Barr will probably be gone by then. Ealy would be the only logical answer. Unless we get a scrub like Ayers to start for us at DE which I would be opposed to. Cowboys should stay put and draft Ealy, or they can trade up into the top 10 and select one of the top 3 DE names in this years draft.

    Better QB? No
    Better RB/Wrs - yes, d-line - Maybe, Linebackers/DB - neither are very good

The Bears were 8-8 last year so they aren't/weren't any better.
