I think we could have a smooth as butter running game this year
You do realize there are six other rounds, right?
This probably means they are not looking to add another high-priced DL then in the draft as their top pick.
Meaning we have one less team picking for the positions we covet.
The signing of Melton has created a real money shake out for the Bears.
Glad we didn't bite on Allen's deal.
I agree. Cant wait to see what happens:
1. Does Ware get the ring in Denver.
2. Does NE revamped D put them in Big Dance.
3. Was Chip Kelly lucky or is he brilliant. We will find out.
4. Does Nick Foles (aka Napolean Dynamite) repeat or take step back.
5. Can Seattle stay in beast mode with loss of FA.
6. Do I repeat as fantasy football champion.
Here is me when I found out we DIDN'T sign Jared Allen to a huge contract:
I always suspected you to be an Asian woman. Gut notwithstanding, at least you have some rhythm.
It doesn't matter what you think. Reality is he's in a position to know who they do and don't like.
So basically it is DE or bust, no matter what? Clowney, Mack, Barr, Donald--all gone. ONLY logical pick is Ealy?
I really really really hope the team is not thinking like this.
Doesn't matter what he thinks. His not always correct just like anyone here in this forum. His guess is as good as mines.
I disagree. First round picks aren't that expensive anymore. If we signed Allen, we would probably draft a DL.
Yeah they will probably select a TE in the 2nd round and forget to pick an DE at all. Good thinking for Dallas.
but my point was it may have changed Chicago's draft directions in our favor since their need maybe less with Allen..
to draft a DL now.
Whereas otherwise Chicago might have traded up to get a DL..
now not so much.
Um at least Cutler hasn't had a major back surgery and RB is equal. Matt Forte is consistantly a top 5 RB every year and DeMarco Murray finally stayed healthy one season and put up decent numbers
I actually think its the opposite. At least in the donald situation. Where before chi had a de and dt tackle spot to fill. Now they have only a dt spot to fill. I think there is a bigger chance now for them to take donald than before they signed allen.
they signed allen for 4 years (meaning really 2 or 3 years) and a 1st round rookie, if they pan out, will be there for 8 to 10 years...they most certainly COULD take a DL in the first and if they were smart, Donald would be a terrific pick....they are fixing the DL in one off season with experience and youth (if they go DL in round 1 and/or early)
Me thinks we select the best available defensive lineman at 16. Any position is fine as long as is on the DL
You are a moron.
