I would like to see Jason Garrett get the OC position if Payton leaves. He is familar with Payton's offense from the Giants. He is a scouts son so BP would like him. Jerry we know likes him. He's a Cowboy and he is a former QB. He presently coaches the Dolphins QB's and has worked with Jim Fassel, Payton, Nick Saban, Norv, Ernie, John Gruden. He should know offensive football.

Thats actually not too bad of an idea. But I highly doubt Parcell's takes an unexperienced guy like that.

I agree- that's actually a very good idea, despite his lack of experience.

I think BP runs this offense if Payton leaves. Garrett has potential as a coach and could be developed, and he knows this offense. Aikman says he helped him alot, maybe he could bring some fresh ideas as well.

Hire him as QB coach/passing coordinator and have him help BP run the offense. Like most of you said, BP will probably do all the play calling but Garrett can help BP with game planning and learn so he can take over as the OC when BP leaves.
